Is Sync Puzzle free?

Yes. The whole game is free to play, with ads. Optional purchases in the Shop add points and gems, or remove the ads for good, but none of them is needed to reach any world, picture or piece count.

Is it on iPhone and iPad?

Not yet. Sync Puzzle is out now on Google Play for Android phones and tablets (Android 7.0 or newer), and the App Store version is on its way.

Can I play without a connection?

Mostly, yes. The very first launch needs a connection to set up your account. After that, solo puzzles from the bundled picture packs and your own photos work offline, your progress is saved on the device straight away, and it syncs up the next time you are online.

Co-op, the leaderboard, the Shop and loading the world map for the first time all need a connection.

How does co-op work?

One person taps Play together → Host game, picks a picture and a size, and gets a room code like FOX-7KM to share. The other taps Join code, types it in, and lands on the same board. You both see the pieces move in real time, and when the puzzle is finished you each get the reward.

A room holds two players, both need an internet connection, and a code stays valid for two hours. If your boards ever look different, Resync board in the pause menu pulls them back in line.

What do points and gems do?

Points pay for help on the board — section hints, Spotlight and Auto-place. You earn them by solving: ten points for every hundred pieces, rounded up. No board tool ever costs a gem.

Gems are the Puzzle Pal currency, and Pals are the only thing they buy. You earn gems the first time you finish each picture, at milestones along the world map, and by doubling a reward after a solve — or you can buy them in the Shop.

What does a Puzzle Pal actually do?

Every Pal grants a real benefit while equipped — an extra preview hold on every puzzle, a free hint each day, a free Spotlight, a skipped ad, a streak you can miss a day of, or a Friendship bonus for a particular kind of solve. Only one Pal is equipped at a time. The full roster lists what each one does.

Can I use my own photos?

Yes, at any piece count your device supports — tap Photo on the puzzle list and pick one. When you solve one of your own photos by yourself, it stays on your device. Hosting a co-op room with one of your photos is the one case where the picture is uploaded, so the friend joining can see the same board; the privacy policy explains exactly what happens to it.

How do I get rid of the ads?

Remove Ads in the Shop (or in Settings) is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: pay once and the banner and between-puzzle ads are gone for good. Rewarded ads — doubling a reward, or unlocking a hint you can’t afford — stay available, and watching one is always your choice.

I bought something and it did not arrive

Open Settings and use Restore Purchases first — that re-checks your Google Play account and re-applies anything you own. If it still has not arrived, email us with the order number from your Google Play receipt and we will sort it out. Refunds are handled by Google Play.

I changed phones. Does my progress come with me?

Yes, if your account is linked. On the old phone, open Settings → Account and tap Link Google Play Games (on iPhone, Link Game Center) — if you are already signed in to Play Games, the game may have done this for you. Then install Sync Puzzle on the new phone, sign in with the same Play Games account, and your progress follows.

A guest account that was never linked lives only on the phone it was created on, and can’t be moved.

Can pieces be rotated?

On bigger puzzles, some pieces can start out turned. A turned piece won’t join its neighbours until it is the right way up, so turn it with the rotate control on a selected piece — the guide shows how.

How do I turn notifications off?

The game only asks to send reminders after you have finished a puzzle, and you can say “Not now”. To switch them off later, use your phone’s own settings: Settings → Apps → Sync Puzzle → Notifications. We send at most one a day.

Who can see me on the leaderboard?

The leaderboard, opened from the Pals screen, ranks players by Pals collected and then by how far they have travelled. It shows your display name next to those numbers, and nothing else. If you would rather not appear on it, email us from the game’s account and we will take you off.

The biggest piece counts are greyed out

A very large puzzle needs a fast phone to cut and keep smooth, so the game checks your device’s processor and screen and only offers the sizes it can handle well — a locked size says “needs a faster device”. Every size up to that limit stays available.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete my account, then type DELETE to confirm. It works for guest accounts too, and it is permanent. The full instructions, and what to do if you have already uninstalled, are here.
