The basics
-
Pick a puzzle. Follow the road on the
World map to the next level, or choose any
picture — including one of your own photos — and a
size.
-
Drag a piece next to the piece it fits. When the
edges match, they snap together and become one group. That works
anywhere on the table: build a corner off to the side, a strip of
sky somewhere else, and join them later.
-
Move groups as one. Drag any piece of a group and
the whole thing follows, perfectly interlocked. Drop a group close
to where it belongs in the picture and it settles into place.
-
Finish it. When every piece is joined, the puzzle
is solved — wherever on the table it happens to be. You earn
points, and the first time you finish a picture, a gem.
The clock only ever counts up. Nothing in Sync Puzzle is a
countdown, so take as long as you like — leave mid-puzzle and
it is saved exactly where you stopped.
Moving around the table
- Pinch to zoom in and out.
- Drag the empty table to move around it.
- Double-tap an empty spot to zoom in; double-tap again to zoom back out.
- Carry a piece to the edge of the screen and the view follows it.
- Center the board brings the whole puzzle back into view.
- Tap the empty table to tuck the buttons out of the way.
- The ? button opens a guided tour of every control, any time.
Pause shows Resume, Settings,
Restart and Quit to Home. You can
also turn the screen to landscape for wide pictures.
Peek at a piece, preview the picture
Hold a loose piece still for half a second and it
flips over to show where it belongs — a grid stamp like
C4, and whether it is a corner, an edge or a middle
piece. Its section lights up on the little map at the top. Let go
and it drops straight back on the table. Peeking is free.
Hold the picture button to see the photo faintly
underneath your pieces, and tap the little map at
the top to open the whole picture full size.
Turning pieces
On bigger puzzles, some pieces start out turned. A turned piece
won’t join its neighbours until it is the right way up, so
select it and tap Rotate piece to give it a quarter
turn. The Fix rotation tool straightens your biggest
crooked group in one go.
Hints and tools
Every board tool is paid for with points, which you
earn by solving — never with gems.
Short on points for a section hint? The game can offer a short
optional ad that unlocks it for free. Some
Puzzle Pals also give you a free hint, Spotlight
or Auto-place every day.
Eight piece counts
Every picture can be cut at any of eight sizes. The exact grid
follows the photo’s shape, so a wide picture gets wide rows.
- Tiny6 pieces
- Little12 pieces
- Easy24 pieces
- Medium54 pieces
- Hard96 pieces
- Advanced200 pieces
- Master400 pieces
- Expertabout 1000
The biggest sizes need a fast phone to stay smooth, so the game
only unlocks the sizes your device handles well. World levels come
with their own size, which grows as the map goes on.

Tips for big puzzles
-
Edges first, the easy way
Hold a piece to peek: the label tells you if it is a corner or an
edge, so you can sort the frame without guessing.
-
Build islands
Pieces join anywhere, so assemble the obvious bits — a face,
a sign, a patch of sky — off to the side and bring them in
whole.
-
Zoom out to sort, in to fit
Pinch out to see everything at once, then zoom right in for the
final tricky pieces.
-
Use the little map
The thumbnail at the top is the whole picture. Tap it whenever you
lose track of what a corner should look like.
-
Turn on section hints at 200+
On the biggest boards, the lettered grid turns “somewhere in
the sky” into “section D2”.
-
Go clean for a bonus
Equip Rollo and finish without hints, Spotlight, Auto-place or
peeks for bonus Friendship.
