Your data
Delete your account
You can permanently delete your Sync Puzzle account, and everything stored with it on our servers, at any time from inside the app — whether you play as a guest or have linked Google Play Games or Game Center. It takes about ten seconds and it cannot be undone.
Delete it from the app
- Open Sync Puzzle on the phone or tablet you play on, with an internet connection.
- Open Settings — the gear button at the top of the home screen.
- Scroll to “Danger Zone” at the very bottom and tap Delete next to “Delete my account”.
- Type DELETE and tap OK. Your account and its data are erased from our servers straight away. The app then starts you on a new guest account — but anything still stored on the device itself stays there (see below).
This is permanent. There is no way for us to bring a deleted account back, and nothing on our servers carries over to the new guest account. Purchases are the exception: they belong to your Apple or Google account, not to us.
What gets erased from our servers
- Your account itself, guest or linked
- Your display name and avatar colour, and the device details recorded with them (platform, device model, OS version, app version)
- Your puzzle-solve history, level progress, stars and personal bests
- Your stats, streaks and achievements
- Your points and gems, their history, and the Puzzle Pals you own
- Our records of the purchases we credited to you
- The co-op rooms you hosted, and your place in rooms you joined
- Your Google Play Games or Game Center link
What it does not cover
- Purchases. Currency packs and Remove Ads are bought through Apple or Google, so deleting does not cancel or refund anything — ask your App Store or Google Play account for a refund. If you bought Remove Ads, you can tap Restore in the Purchases section of Settings on the new account to have the store check for it again.
- A photo you shared in co-op. If you hosted a room using one of your own photos, that picture is stored separately from your account and is not removed. Email us — ideally before you delete your account, while we can still match the photo to you — and we will delete it.
- Data held by the services we use. Usage statistics and crash reports (Google Firebase, Android only), push notifications (OneSignal), purchase records (RevenueCat) and ads (Google AdMob) keep what they already received under their own policies. Email us and we will ask them to delete what they can.
- What’s on your device. Cached photos, puzzles in progress, settings and the local copy of your stats stay on the phone, and those stats may be uploaded to the new guest account the next time you finish a puzzle. For a truly fresh start, also uninstall the app or clear its data.
Guest accounts can be deleted too
Most players never link anything, and that is fine — the game creates a guest account for you so you can play immediately. A guest account has no email or password, but it is still a real account on our servers, holding your display name, progress and stats. The Delete button works exactly the same way for it; there is no need to link Play Games or Game Center first.
If you already uninstalled the app
Uninstalling removes the app’s sign-in key from your device, but not your account from our servers.
If you had linked Google Play Games or Game Center, the quickest route is to reinstall the app, link the same Play Games or Game Center profile again from Settings — which signs you back in to your old account — and then delete it from the app as described above.
Otherwise, there is no way to sign back in to a guest account, so email ibrahimzakaria1122@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Tell us your display name (a name you chose is unique to you; if you never changed it from “Player”, say so), whether you played on Android or iOS, roughly when you started and last played, and anything you remember about your progress, such as the furthest level you reached. We will find the account, delete it, and reply to tell you when it is done — normally within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
What happens on our side
Deleting removes your user record, and our database then erases every row tied to it automatically — we do not keep a “deactivated” copy. Our hosting provider may keep technical logs and backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Changed your mind? Nothing has happened yet.
